In a very close match with only an overall 4 stableford points difference between the 2 sides, Sally Sketcher’s 2^nd Team were the victors. Amassing a total of 29 gross birdies and 2 eagles between both teams.

 This was a great performance from the two teams. It showed strength in depth from both of our 1^st and 2^nd teams. The match was played at Chevin Golf Club in Derbyshire where County Week will be held from 20-24 June. With a change in format, this year a 4 ball better ball stableford and all scores to count has proved a positive for the 2^nd team as this is the first time they have won since pre 2007. 

A fantastic score of 44 points for Julie Brown and recently back from college in America Mel Siviter having a total of 7 gross birdies in the round with 6 birdies on the back 9! There were also 2 eagles – Leanne Ball on 10 and Rachel Bishop on 18.
