Staffs 1st Team v Warks 1st Team friendly match – The Centenary Cup

Staffs Ladies 1st Team played a friendly match against Warwickshire Ladies 1st Team on Sunday 22nd May 2011 at Whittington heath Golf Club, a great win for Staffordshire 8½ to 3½.
This was an impressive team effort in extremely windy conditions with every one of the players contributing towards the final points tally.

It was a good chance to play some new and exciting foursomes pairings, an excellent result with County week not too far away - Well Done Girls!

The Centenary Cup is presented to the winning team of the fixture and Staffs will be the proud holders for the next 12 months. Winners for the 2nd consecutive year, the cup will be taken to the next County Meeting and put on display.
