Invitations have been sent out to all Staffordshire golf clubs for the Staffordshire County Golf Partnership Annual Meeting which will be held on Wednesday 28th September at Brocton Hall Golf Club. Two representatives from each golf club have initially been invited however clubs can apply to send more than two. Full details are on the invitation together with the proposed agenda.

Leek Golf Club - 26th August, currently between 2.00 - 2:30pm  but may be extended dependent upon numbers

Any junior between the ages of 8 and 16, irrespective of golfing experience should register to attend

Golf clubs from across the Midlands are coming together to launch the region's first ever Golf Week, a joint initiative between the County Golf Partnerships of Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Leicestershire & Rutland and Shropshire & Herefordshire.

Following hot on the heels of this year's Open Championship at Royal St George's, the festival of golf will offer anyone inspired by the sight of Lee Westwood and co. battling it out for the famous Claret Jug the perfect opportunity to give the sport a try.

The county's first golf festival tees off as the Open comes to its dramatic conclusion on July 18.
