The EWGA Midlands North Regional Medal Final was held yesterday Saturday 1st May at Brocton Hall Golf Club.

Congratulations to Deborah Austin (The Wrekin) on winning the event with a fantastic score of 5 under par, nett 65 which was six shots clear of the rest of the field!

Six players then finished with a nett 71 including Diane Lea (Trentham Park) and Angela Smith (Little Aston), followed by Bridget Locke (Brocton Hall) in sole possesion of eighth place with a nett 72.

Ninety-six players competed in the event and although players were primarily from Midlands North Region clubs there were players who had travelled from as far afield as St Mellion in Cornwall and Bridlington in Yorkshire.

The top ten players go forward the the EWGA Medal Final which will be held at The Worcestershire on the 26th June.
