Congratulations to Sam Birks (Wolstanton) on finishing 15th at the English Women's Open Strokeplay Championship which took place at Whittington Heath G.C. August 3-5.

Sam comfortably made the cut after the first two rounds finishing in joint 13th place, shooting a great 73 in the second round.

The tournament was won by Julie Yang from Korea.
