Julie named SSB Female Performer of the Year! |

Congratulations to Julie Brown (Brocton Hall) on being named Sport Stafford Borough (SSB) Female Performer of the Year for 2009!
The 11th Annual (SSB) Awards event took place at the St Leonards Works Sports and Social Club last Friday, the 5th March and is sponsored by the Staffordshire Newsletter and supported by the Stafford Borough Council's leisure team and Staffordshire University.

Mel receives Golfer of the Month award! |
|
Congratulations to Mel Siviter (Enville) on being named NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas Women's Golfer of the Month for February. Mel, who is a freshman at Belmont Abbey College, had a great start to 2010 with a win at the Kiawah Island Invitational in February.
According to the Belmont Abbey Athletics website Mel beat ten of the top 20 Division II players in the individual rankings, including the number two and three ranked players in all of Division II golf. The second ranked player being ranked 21st in all of College Golf, which includes all NCAA Division I, II and III, JUCO and NAIA rankings.

Sharon Heeley our EGU/EWGA Regional Development Officer is taking part in a Charity Bike Ride through the Beijing Province of China in April 2011.
The charity is Women for Women - funding better health for women and babies
