Congratulations to Bronwyn Davis (Wolstanton) on successfully defending her title in the Junior County Championship!

Bronwyn, the Staffordshire Junior Vice-Captain, shot 154 gross in the 36 hole Championship which was played at Leek G.C. on Friday 17th April, Fiona Briggs (Lakeside) was runner - up with 157. Both girls have been playing well recently with good results in the recent Whittington Ladies Trophy.

The prize-winners from the Junior Championship and Bronze Handicap Plate competitions are pictured with our County President, Anna Adams and the Lady Captain of Leek G.C., Helen Boulton.

Bronwyn now goes forward to represent Staffordshire in the Midland Girls Champion of Champions Competition Under-18 section with Emily Coleman (Brocton Hall) representing Staffordshire in the Under-16 section by virtue of a BB9.

This was won by Emily Brennan (Barlaston) with 31 pts with Georgia Santoro the runner-up.
