Congratulations to Staffordshire County Player Mel Siviter (Enville) on a great final round of 72, in the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate golf tournament, hosted by Tusculum College at the Cougar Point Golf Club in Kiawah Island, South Carolina.

Mel is in her second year at Belmont Abbey College and her wonderful second round of level par meant that she finished in ninth place and pushed her college team, the Abbey Crusaders, up the rankings to a third place finish.

Mel has been having another good season as she was named MVP (Most Valued Player) at her college's Crusader Cup tournament where the Belmont Abbey men's and women's golf teams finished the autumn season with a Ryder Cup style event.
