Congratulations to Sue Turner (Whittington Heath) on being appointed Captain of the GB&I Girls Team which will play a Continent of Europe side at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, Wales, in June.

The match will be played concurrently with the ladies' equivalent, the biennial Vagliano Trophy match, on 24 and 25 June.

Sue has also been confirmed as team manager for the 37th Curtis Cup Match against the USA which will be held at The Nairn Golf Club, Scotland on 8-10 June 2012. She will assist International Team Captain Tegwen Matthews at this event.

Fantastic news Sue!!

Sue is already an extremely experienced GB&I Captain as she captained the victorious Five Nations GB&I ladies team in 2007. She has also captained the Wesh Ladies Teams for the last three years and they won the Home Internationals in 2008 and 2009.
