Congratulations to Mel Siviter (Enville) on winning at the Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Championship and on being named Conference Carolinas Women's Golf Freshman of the Year 2010!

Mel came through to win on the third day by three shots from her teammate Liz Cortez with four of the Belmont Abbey team finishing in the top five to win the Women's Championship by 55 shots.

The Conference Tournament Championships were co-hosted by Mel's college, Belmont Abbey College and the Belmont Abbey Team received a number of awards which were presented at the league golf team banquet. 

Mel was also selected for the Conference Carolinas All-Conference second team.
