The Staffordshire County Golf Partnership is inviting Staffordshire Clubs and Driving Ranges to sign up for the new Go 4 Green and Girls Go 4 Green initiatives to support the drive to develop new golfers and create membership opportunities across the county.

The Go 4 Green campaign will introduce golf as a sporting option to new adult golfers, with the overall objective of increasing the number of golfers and overall golf club membership in Staffordshire and Girls Go 4 Green is aimed specifically at non-playing girls less than 19 years of age.

Congratulations to County 2nd Team Captain Georgie Taylor and husband Martin on the birth of their twin girls!

Yvie (2lb 6oz) and Lola (2lb 9oz) were born on Monday 12th July and all are doing well.

Well done Georgie!

For those clubs working towards GolfMark the following Safeguarding and Protecting Children Workshop has been organised as part of the Staffordshire CGP Safeguarding Action Plan:

Good luck to Staffordshire's Rachel Jennings (Izaak Walton) and Sam Birks (Wolstanton) who are representing England and Wales, respectively, at the 28th European Ladies Team Championship. The tournament is being hosted this year by the La Manga Club in Spain between July 6th and July 10th.
