The Spring Coaching sessions proved a great success with this year seeing two venues being attended with sessions at St Thomas’ Priory with PGA Professional Michael Beaumont and his team and also at The 3 Hammers Golf Complex at the A. Proudman & P. Ward Golf Academy.
Using both the venues to cover either end of the Staffs catchment area certainly helped to increase the numbers as 36 girls attended.
At the two venues the girls were put through their basic warm up with balancing skills then onto golf instruction.
Everyone enjoyed what they did between the puffing, the wobbles and giggles as they stood on one foot and on balancing equipment trying to putt.
The ‘The Most Improved’ award was given to six-year-old beginner Ella Davies at the 3 Hammers so well done to Ella!
Girls completing the course also received their attendance certificate.
We look forward to seeing everyone again in the autumn the dates are for 5 Sundays September 26th to October 24th at both venues.
