S.L.C.G.A.

The following Staffordshire Girls have attended SLCGA County Girls' Level 3 Coaching: Laura Steveton(Walsall), Elizabeth Stuart(Wolstanton), Joanna Williams(Leek), Louise Guest(Wolstanton), Bethany Smith(South Staffs) and Grace Doody(Enville).

The coaching consists of three, two hour sessions approximately one month apart, at The Three Hammers Golf Centre with Professionals Piers Ward and Andy Proudman and the first of these sessions took place last Sunday the 9th May.

The six girls were individually asked what their expectations were for County Coaching and what their goals were for 2010. Each were then put through a series of exercises to determine their physical flexibility and range of movement. They then moved onto the driving range to warm up before having an individual swing analysis with video. After each analysis they returned to the driving range where exercises and routines were given to correct any individual fault.

At the end there was a question and answer session. Each girl will be provided with a set of notes to act as a reminder of what they need to work on before the next session in June.
