Congratulations to Bronwyn Davies, our County Junior Vice-Captain, on being selected for the 2009 - 2010 EWGA Select Midlands Regional Training Squad.

Sam sets new course record! |
|
Congratulations to Sam Meese (Enville) on setting a new ladies amateur course record for the Lodge Course at Enville.
Sam, who is a member of our Staffordshire Girls team, scored 46pts which was 2 under gross and reduced her handicap to 5.7.

Level 1 Autumn Coaching Report |
|
Fifteen junior girls attended the Level 1 Coaching sessions this period held at St Thomas Priory with professional Michael Beaumont.
After range practice Michael made the sessions more challenging and competitive by setting out three holes on the putting green (with quite a slope). Then organised teams to chip and run using all three holes, each time trying to beat their own previous score, when including bunker play the challenge was really on.
