County Week Report 2014

It's now a week on from County Match Week that took place at the Leicestershire and I think it is fair to say all are just about recovered. A physical, demanding and stressful week endured by everyone, players, caddies, supporters and indeed myself.

I must thank all the players for their tenacity shown through out the week, a very hard, difficult week at that.

Our matches were very close as you would have seen from the results posted daily.

We were also very lucky with the weather, no rain in fact a week of dry sunny days. We must thank the organisers from the Leicestershire Ladies County Golf Association for ordering that and for all their hard work running upto and through out the week.

Congratulations go to Rachel Bishop, Sam Meese and Emily Brennan who all won their colours during this week and I know they will wear them with pride.
